Paul & Carol Holmes (Airdrie, AB)

Paul and Carol Holmes live in Airdrie, Alberta.  Both of them were born in Toronto and moved west in the 1980’s as a young married couple to begin their teaching careers.  They have been active in various kinds of Christian ministry throughout their lives, including camp work, children’s ministry, church leadership positions, and teaching in public as well as private Christian schools. From 1988 to 1990  they were Short Term Assistants with Wycliffe Bible Translators (SIL) teaching missionary kids in Cameroon, West Africa for two years.  Paul holds a Bachelor of Theology degree, a B.Ed, and a partially completed MA in Christian Counselling.  Carol has a BA in French, some Master’s level counselling courses, and a B.Ed.   Together they have many years of teaching experience from Grades 2 to 12.  They have four adult children and have been married for more than 35 years.  

In 2013, Paul and Carol were exposed to the ministry of Family Foundations and immediately knew this was something they wanted to be a part of.   In 2015, they attended a two-week School of Ministry in Colorado and were trained to become Seminar Coordinators for FFI.    Since then, Paul and Carol have assisted with numerous seminars in Alberta and are excited to bring this ministry of heart-healing to many more churches and individuals in Southern Alberta.
